Your responsibilites

As Anchoring Design Engineer & Tech Sales in the EMEA team, you will be responsible for supporting the team both in the pre-project tender phase and in the project execution phase, in collaboration with all the parties involved in the smooth running of projects.

 

Your role & your missions

  • Carry out technical feasibility studies and respond to calls for tender for projects (layout, pre-sizing calculation notes)
  • Collaborate with the sales team, preparing technical and commercial bids in coordination with the departments concerned
  • Participate in execution studies during the project phase (execution drawings, detailed engineering studies for anchor design)
  • Support sales representatives in technical meetings with customers
  • Support the R&D department in defining market needs and new products
  • Contribute to the updating and continuous improvement of tools, templates, processes and guidelines, in collaboration with the various C&T departments (project department, sales department, R&D, etc.)

Your qualifications

You have a 2-year higher education diploma (such as a DUT in mechanical engineering, BTS CPI and/or licence pro CMAO) to 5-year higher education diploma (such as an engineering diploma or a Master’s degree in mechanical design, general engineering, hydrodynamic engineering).

You have a good technical knowledge of mechanics and a strong interest in renewable energies!

Knowledge of solar energy, the operation of photovoltaic power plants (panels, inverters, electrical cabinets, etc.) and the technical constraints of installation would be appreciated.

Hard Skills

  • Autocad, Microsoft Office and Excel (VBA/macros design) hold no secrets for you.
  • Knowledge of PVSyst, Solidworks and Blender would be a plus.
  • You are fluent in French and English.
