Your responsibilities

Within the Business Unit dedicated to the sale of products and services for the floating solar markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), you will be responsible for contractual and legal management, and will act as a referent to protect the company’s interests when selling floating solar products and associated services (engineering, construction, maintenance…). You will report directly to the General Manager of the EMEA Business Unit, and indirectly to the company’s Deputy Director in charge of contractual and legal matters.

Your Missions


At the request of the EMEA team dedicated to the sale of products and services for the floating solar market, you will act as CONTRACT & LEGAL MANAGER to discuss, draft and approve fair agreements while controlling the associated risks for C&T :

  • Sales contracts for products/services
  • General terms and conditions of sale, warranty conditions
  • EPC contracts for the implementation of floating photovoltaic projects, O&M contracts
  • Cooperation agreements with partners (agent or specific collaboration)
  • Supply chain contracts (purchase of molds, manufacture of products, supply of parts, etc.)
  • NDAs, Master of Understanding, Letter of exclusivity, Term sheet

You will be responsible for developing and updating model contracts with standard clauses, defined to limit the company’s exposure to liability.
You will ensure that every agreement implemented complies with these standard clauses. For non-standard cases, you will work closely with the team to negotiate and arrive at a fair contract that is accurate, comprehensive and consistent with the project.
You will assist the team in the contractual aspects of projects, to clarify the obligations and limits of liability of the parties and to raise awareness of contractual aspects within the team, in particular with sales and project managers.
On request, you take part in major negotiation and sales meetings (travel). If necessary, you will summarize key points to help decision-making.
You will ensure contract administration (appropriate files and reports).


You will provide administrative support for the audit / due diligence process for C&T’s qualification as a supplier or subcontractor for floating solar projects in EMEA markets.
You will assist with insurance issues related to products and services, such as insurance policies for specific projects (ten-year warranty, all-risk construction…) or potential claims, and with any disputes with third parties (customers, suppliers, …).
You will be the point of contact for external advisors (brokers, lawyers, etc.) should the need arise.

Your qualifications

You have a degree in law or contract management, or possibly in business or engineering, but you have solid theoretical and practical experience in international or European contracts relating to the supply of products and/or the construction of facilities.

You have at least 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar position.

You are familiar with international contracts and have already worked on major industrial projects, ideally in the energy sector, within a company operating as an EPC contractor in a multicultural environment (international teams and projects).
