Your responsabilities

As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing robotic and autonomous solutions from the concept/idea stage to industrialized technology for floating solar power plants.


Your role & your missions

  • Participate in the design and modeling of new mechanical products
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure product quality and reliability
  • Carry out tests and analyses to validate product performance
  • Contribute to the optimization of manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Ensure product compliance with current standards and regulations

Your Tasks

  • Define technical solutions for robotized and autonomous machines to work in complex environments in connection with our floating solar power plants.
  • Carry out technical feasibility – performance forecasting, risk analysis, industrial feasibility and field implementation.
  • Ensure system qualification.
  • Manage the manufacture of various prototypes.
  • Prepare design reviews and milestone reviews. Validate milestone packages.
  • Regularly update and monitor the project schedule and budget.
  • Manage internal and external project teams.
  • Report to the R&D Manager or R&D Director for decision-making.
  • Capitalize on lessons learned and draft design guides.
  • Close projects with lessons learned and a project summary.
  • Participate in company Intellectual Property (patentability review, patent drafting review).
  • Responsible for signing documents in accordance with the Signature Authority Matrix.

Your Qualifications

Master’s degree in engineering or engineering diploma (Robotics, Mechatronics)

Minimum 7 years’ prior professional experience in the development of robotized or autonomous systems, ideally in an SME.
