Floating solar on dams is one of the challenging floating solar application especially due to the depth of the reservoir, one of the biggest challenge. Sobradinho’s anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum of 29.3m depth and a 13m water level variation.
Whereas the main aim of installing FPV on Hydrodams is to benefit from the available water space by adding solar as a second source of energy, while saving water resources to produce at night.
