At Ciel & Terre, we know that we have to act now on a large scale, to deploy renewable energy projects worldwide while preserving land in the name of a sustainable world. This is our purpose.

Since 2011, we are specialized in deploying floating solar power plants, from design to distribution and installation. We strongly believe that floating solar is the best solution to produce green energy while preserving our precious lands. By using artificial ponds, floating photovoltaics solve land issues by preserving available areas.

Our expertise as a world leader in floating solar technology is built on over 300 successful projects around the globe.

Above all, we are driven by our pioneer spirit to provide smart solutions and to open new promising pathways for renewables. Our teams believe in the power of cooperation and the hybridization of talents to build floating solar solutions that are both bold and customized.

Bernard is a born entrepreneur cumulating 15 years in the renewable energy sector and 40 years of experience in business development. All along his career, his goal was to help the energy transition process. By creating Ciel & Terre he achieves his ambition to gather innovation and clean solutions.

At the origin of Ciel & Terre’s creation alongside Bernard Prouvost (Chairman), Alexis is an entrepreneurial engineer passionate about innovation. He is behind the company’s strategic shift to focus on floating solar power, with the creation of the first patented floating technology, Hydrelio®, in 2011.

Stephane Prouvost Director Ciel & Terre International

After a few years in the marine industry, Stéphane joined Ciel & Terre in 2016 as a European market developer and then moved to Bangalore to establish Ciel & Terre India in 2018. In parallel of driving the new Indian factory and totalizing around 150MWp FPV projects, he launched Ciel & Terre R&D center. Since 2021, along with Daphnée Bouquet, he manages Ciel & Terre Division.

Daphnée has been with the company since the early stages of Ciel & Terre journey. Motivated by her passion for environmental sustainability, she joined the company in 2009. Year after year, she occupied various positions from coordinating projects and research and development teams, to managing contractual activities. She now oversees the strategic & operational management of Ciel & Terre as co-Director alongside Stéphane Prouvost.

With a solid career path in Sales management and business development, Vincent joined Ciel & Terre in 2020 to develop the activity in the EMEA region. Since his arrival, he has largely contributed to the development of the market especially in France.

Bertrand Colin joined Ciel & Terre in 2012 as R&D engineer to develop the Hydrelio range. After supporting the development of Ciel & Terre in Japan he moved to the USA to launch the American subsidiary in 2018, a market with very strong growth potential.

Luc Pejo began his journey at Ciel & Terre as Project Engineer. He then moved to Japan to lead the Project and Construction department of the local office in Tokyo. With his great experience in developing floating solar projects and local services, he became in 2024 CEO of Ciel & Terre Japan.

After 10 years of experience in the Electronic engineering industry, George Wang joined Ciel & Terre Taiwan in 2020 as senior project manager. Thanks to his business development skills, technical background and ability to coordinate his teams, he quickly progressed to General Manager in 2024.

Deepak Ushadevi Managing Director Ciel & Terre India

Deepak started working for Ciel & Terre in 2018 alongside Stéphane. Together they launched the Indian subsidiary exploring the Indian floating PV market. He is an expert in the photovoltaic industry in which he works since 2016.
