I was very much impressed by our partners. For example, Ito-Chu (one of the biggest general trading companies in Japan) or Mega Banks who trusted and saw an important potential in our French company in Japan.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned from your experience in Ciel & Terre?
Willingness of the team members to provide extra mile to achieve client satisfaction.
Having a cohesion in between multi-cultural, disparate expertise, various experience background, associated with autonomy, trust and international working environment can create a unified team. Thanks to this cohesion, we are able to face any kind of commercial, financial and technical issues.
What is your favourite mantra?
What animates you in your managing director job?
Well, first, the wellness of my team. Especially in Japan, where workaholic attitude is common, I am pushing my team members to focus on life quality and life balance.
Secondly, I realize how much Ciel & Terre is a GLOBAL company, and how much exciting it is having its team members being the main actors for:
- Globally, spreading sustainable solar solutions from land of the rising sun.
- Locally, producing and distributing to population surrounding the water surfaces.
What kind of opportunities do you foresee for Ciel & Terre in the upcoming years?
Ciel & Terre will keep leading the FPV worldwide activities by customizing the technology depending on the area and the suitable market scheme. For Japan, it will be a balance in between few huge projects, and a bunch of small projects.
What do you think the future will be like in 10 years?
Development of smart cities producing locally decarbonated electricity feeding smart homes will give us complete control over energy consumption. It will also bring efficiency and will enable us to choose when to buy power from the grid, sell it or store it.
