Context
We’re looking for our new O&M Engineer to support our Operation & Maintenance team located in Hyogo, Japan.

Main Missions
- Day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of the water photovoltaic plant
- Specific maintenance actions, schedule monitoring monitoring reports
- Monitoring of products over time
- Reporting, reporting, on products
- Updating technical documentation of water-based photovoltaic plants
- Reporting on products, based on KPIs (indicators)
- Management based on various databases
- Management of water-based solar power plants through monitoring
- Development of new suppliers and construction management (budgets for suppliers and various negotiation tasks)
- Follow-up and management of water-based solar PV to ensure smooth implementation of maintenance, inspection and construction
- Monitoring and setting up commissioning of new water-based solar power plants
- Troubleshooting of monitoring systems
- Develop annual plans for maintenance, inspections and maintenance management
- Team management including subcontractors
- Management of schedules and construction periods
- Support of affiliates and construction teams as required
- Understanding and experience in the installation, design and operation of water-based solar PV systems and problem-solving skills are a plus.
Experience and ability to:
- Class III Chief Electrical Engineer or (with at least 3 years’ practical experience is a must).
- → Experience at the Electrical Safety Association of Japan is a plus
- First class electrical installation
- First class electrical construction management engineer (with supervisory engineer training)
- Qualifications related to solar
- High school or above
- Successful experience in solar PV business/electrical contracting/solar PV construction
- Working experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- English (TOIEC 500 or above) Preferably ⇒ level of reading and writing
- Understanding of technical equipment, design, electrical installations, system installation, monitoring systems and O&M related equipment
- Understanding of telecommunication networks
- A standard driving licence
Desirable experience and competencies
- French language skills a plus
- Experience in renewable energy project special projects.
