Context
We’re looking for our new Site Supervisor and O&M Engineer to join our Operation & Maintenance team located in Hyogo, Japan.

Main Missions
- On-site responsibility for the construction of water-based solar power plants, including managing the construction process, managing the site, and managing on-site staff.
- Daily monitoring and maintenance of water photovoltaic plants
- Specific maintenance actions, schedule monitoring reports
- Monitoring of products over time
- Preparation of reports on products, reporting
- Updating of technical documentation for water photovoltaic plants
- Reporting on products based on KPI’s (KPI’s)
- Management based on various databases
- Management of water photovoltaic power plants through monitoring
- Development of new suppliers and construction management (budgets and various negotiations with suppliers)
- Follow-up and management of water solar power plants to ensure smooth execution of maintenance, inspection and construction
- Monitoring and configuration of commissioning of new water-based solar power plants
- Troubleshooting of monitoring systems
- Develop annual plan for maintenance, inspections and maintenance management
- Team management including subcontractors
- Schedule and construction schedule management
- Support of affiliates and construction team as needed
- Understanding and experience in the installation, design, and operation of floating solar PV systems and problem solving skills are a plus.
Experience and ability to:
- First-Class Electrical Construction
- First-Class Electrical Construction Management Engineer (Supervisory Engineer trained)
- Qualifications related to solar
- High school education or higher
- Successful experience in solar projects/electrical contracting/solar power construction
- Working experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of technical equipment, design, electrical equipment, system installation, monitoring systems, and O&M related equipment
- Understanding of telecommunications networks
- Regular driver’s license
Preferres experience and abilities
- Experience in renewable energy project special high value projects.
- Electrical construction support.
- Type I electrical work
- Second-Class Electrical Construction
- 1st class electrical work construction management engineer
- Second Class Electrical Construction Construction Management Engineer
- Experience on Small Vessel
- Diving experience
- Disaster Prevention Manager Certification
- Knowledge of solar related equipment (power conditioners, cubicles, etc.)
- Knowledge of electrical standards and solar industry in Japan
- Working experience with AUTO CAD
- English (level of ability to read and write ⇒ TOEIC score of 500), French is a plus
